The Tanworth in Arden Village Fete
Our Mission…
We’re a small group of local villagers who want to create (for the young) and re-create (for the not so young) childhood memories of a traditional village fete. For us, traditional means the tombola, test your strength, skittles, a coconut shy, a dog show, a pig roast, tea & cake, bouncy castles & lucky dip…for us the sun will always be shining.
We are keen to ensure that the Tanworth in Arden village fete is safe and affordable for the whole family.
Whilst it has never been our intention to turn the fete into a huge fundraising exercise, we do need to cover our costs. A proportion of any profit made, will be shared with local charities whilst the rest will be ploughed back into future events in order to ensure that the fete becomes a regular feature of Tanworth’s village life.
We love our village and hope that our fete will enable us to grow as a community. Everyone can play a part whether by joining the committee, volunteering to set up and run the fete or by turning up and enjoying the day.
